Things to do in Bangkok

Wat Pho & Grand Palace | Th Sanam Chai, Bangkok
Also known as the Temple of the Reclining Buddha or Wat Phra Chetuphon, this must-see is located behind the Temple of the Emerald Buddha. It's one of the largest temple complexes in the city and famed for its giant reclining Buddha that measures 46 meters long and is covered in gold leaf. It’s an easy ten-minute walk between here and the Grand Palace.

Chatuchak Weekend Market|587/10 Th Phahonyothin, Bangkok
Plan to spend a full day at Chatuchak, one of the largest markets in the world, as there’s plenty to see, do, and buy. But come early, ideally around 10am, to beat the crowds and the heat.

Jim Thompson House | 6 Soi Kasem San 2, Bangkok
Visit the former home of James H.W. Thompson, a self-made American entrepreneur who was the founder of the world-renowned Jim Thompson Thai Silk Company. Thompson's achievements during his 25-year stay in the Kingdom of Thailand have won him much fame as the "Legendary American of Thailand.
